Pamper your skin and skip the trips to beauty salons, it’s time to get our home beauty kits together and wage war on the wrinkles! Let’s face it, we all know it is not always easy to go to a beauty salon and get yourself all coddle up, it can be a task with our usual offices and tasks. We also need time to relax and de-stress from all the stress coming our way. During my quarantine, I am getting very fond of beauty rollers and Gua Sha tool.
Here at TJC, we are having a splendid range of beauty tools and accessories to pamper you and your skin. But before buying any of these, let us take a look at the products and how they work-
What are beauty rollers and why to use them?
Well, Chinese royalty has been using them for years and both the instant and long term benefits includes the tightening and toning facial muscles, improving absorption of your beauty products topically, promoting lymphatic drainage, addressing puffiness and wrinkles, increasing circulation by stimulating the skin, contouring the facial structure and tightening pores via the cold stones.
They work on the principle of improving the circulation and fresh flow of oxygen and blood to the skin. They also help the detoxification process through a more efficient lymphatic drainage as the rollers flush out congestion and swelling. Great after a hard day or night and of course lack of sleep!
Directions to use a beauty roller-
You can use them with your favourite serums and moisturisers to get maximum benefits from the products. Always use it in an upward direction, applying gentle pressure for further relief. Start from the jawline and work your way up to the hairline. Roll horizontally across the forehead and use the smaller end to work around the eyes and mouth area.
My personal favourite tip is to put the roller in the fridge or freezer for even better cooling action!
When you search on our website, you will see them made from various gemstones including amethyst, rose quartz and jade. It is up to you to choose any gem since each has its own special properties and do a very similar job.
The great Gua Sha tool:
Some of our rollers come with a Gua Sha tool too. This is to be used on other areas of the body as a scraping tool with benefits similar to the roller but over larger areas of the body. The Chinese believe that its purpose is to help move energy around the body and have used it for centuries. It could help to boost circulation, increase blood flow, break up scar tissue and help the pain. It’s generally used on the back, buttocks, neck, arms and legs.
So, why not give it a try whilst you have time? It may become a favourite part of a weekly beauty and relaxation regime!
