Marina’s Top Picks of the Week

Handpicked from TJC, my top 7 picks this week are amazing value for money and seventh heaven for the soul!

I have always wanted to feature a few personal favourites from the TJC vault of goodies, and today, in-between the eating for two, baking for 500 and watching a year’s worth of TV series, I finally got round to having a good look through the TJC website and handpicking some of my current online faves!

I have bought so many items from TJC over the 6 years I have been at the company – scarves, beauty products, bags, nail products… but mostly jewellery. Like many of us, I love to change up my look regularly so although I do love my gold overlay hoop earrings, I like to mix up colours and styles depending on the event or occasion.

I’ve tried to pick a variety of products from different categories in this blog, so that it’s not just jewellery and I hope you like what I’ve chosen! My aim is to do this every week (mainly because there are so many fabulous items online it was actually a serious challenge for me to pick just seven! So making this a regular thing makes total sense!) I do understand though, that everyones taste is different and we all like different things. If there’s something specifically you are looking for, let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to see what we have in our vault or if there’s anything like it coming in.

So, enough of me going on….here are my personal weekly picks! Have a read and let me know what you think!

Initial R Pendant in 9K Yellow Gold

Marina's top picks of the week

I love this! I love personal presents. I also love gold and I particularly love fine, cute pendants. There’s a time and a place for big statement pieces, but this is something you can wear every day, and I think it would look gorgeous layered up with other fine necklaces and pendants of different lengths. I think considering I often see customized jewellery on the high street for around the £20-25 mark, I think £29.99 for real gold is fantastic. You’ll need a chain with this though, and if you don’t already have one at home, our chains are superb value for money.

‘She Believed She Could and So She Did’ Bracelet in Sterling Silver

Marina's top picks of the week

My next from my top picks of the week is this sterling silver bracelet – I love inspirational/motivational quotes, and I love bolo-style fastenings. With a lobster claw clasp or a senorita, they can be fiddly if you have dexterity issues or if you’re like me it is just tricky to do up alone! The bolo fastening allows you to put it on and take it off with ease, and you can have it looser or tighter to suit your wrist. (I like them because I personally don’t want my bracelets loose, I like them to fit tightly). The bolo bracelets also look greatly layered with others. For £9.99 for sterling silver with the engraving, I think it’s a steal.

Amore Heart Earrings in Gold Plated Silver

Marina's top picks of the week

The next piece from the top picks I have chosen is a designer piece. I love Rachel Galley jewellery as it’s just great quality and because we buy in bulk from Rachel, we are able to lower our prices to crazy ones. These earrings are the lattice puff hearts in sterling silver with a gold overlay. I’m a bit biased with these because I bought them for my mum for Christmas and she absolutely loves them and wears them all the time! She gets lots of compliments on them and I always notice them. Also available in rose and plain silver.

Nailed London Rosie Fortescue Gel Polish Noodle Nude

Marina's top picks of the week

I thought I would change things up a bit and make one of these amazing nail polishes another of my picks. Genuinely, the Nailed London gel wear varnishes are some of the best I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a LOT of brands over the years. This brand for me has staying power, doesn’t really chip and has a gorgeous gel-like finish. It also dries in record time! I love all the colours but have chosen a nice nude as I always think nudes are great for anyone wanting their nails to look manicured and tidy without drawing too much attention to them. This colour is a classy effortless nude. I’ve spent £20 before on nail varnish, but obviously, they can range from £8-£15 on the high street and at £2.99 you just can’t go wrong!

Ravel Junee Wedge Sandals in Tan Colour

Marina's top picks of the week

My next pick this week is from the well known Ravel shoe brand. I am obsessed with this brand and always have been, and I’m so happy we have some of their fabulous designs available at TJC! I love these in particular because I’m a big fan of the wedge. I usually love high wedges, but if you want a casual shoe for summer that’s comfortable and not totally flat, these are for you! The sole makes these super comfy, and I like the ankle support at the back. The colour is gorgeous, and that little bit of height is so flattering on the leg without them being difficult to walk in. They also come in black colour, but I love the tan!

Leaf Design Pendant with Chain in 14K Gold Plated Silver with chain

Marina's top picks of the week

My penultimate pick is this olive pendant. I adore this piece and always have! It’s sterling silver with a gold overlay, but we do it in the three colourways if you’re not a lover of gold overlay jewellery. This is EXTREMELY similar to a very well-known designer out there, and that designer charges approx. £120 plus the chain on top. I know you pay for the name with designers, but this is gorgeous, very similar in design and includes the magnificent chain too. The intricate detail in this design really appeals to me, and because of this detail, I would expect to get lots of compliments on this piece when wearing it.

Burmese Blue Sapphire Half Eternity Band Ring in Platinum Plated Sterling Silver

Marina's top picks of the week

My final pick this week is a gemstone piece. I think our gemstones are incredible value for money and we can only do it because we buy the stones in bulk and having two channels here and in the USA, we can utilise our amazing contacts across the world. I’ve chosen a simple half eternity design, with sterling silver and platinum overlay. I’ve chosen sapphire as the gemstone as that is going to be my baby’s birthstone when they are born later this year, and I personally would love to buy this for my right hand once the baby is here! What a fantastic deal too at just £35.99. You can explore our amazing selection of birthstone pieces right here on the TJC website – from pendants to earrings to rings and bracelets…the choice is endless. Also, buying someone their birthstone really does make the perfect personal gift.

So that’s all for now folks!
