The Roaring 20’s – a time when hemlines were raised, waistlines were dropped and hair was cropped into short bobs. With the insurgence of Hollywood hits like The Great Gatsby and TV shows like Downton Abbey, the Roaring 20′s style is back and its très chic.
The jewellery during the 1920’s was lavish, bold and flashy, which of course we love. Women draped themselves in long dripping strings of beads. Earrings became a focal point due to the shorter hairstyles – so it was chandelier earrings all the way! We saw bold art deco brooches encrusted in crystals and gemstones. Clutch bags were all the rage and the glitzier the better.
So to help you with your flapper fashion we’ve rooted around in the vault and have come up with a great ensemble. We’ve got the very best of 1920’s earrings, bracelets, necklaces, clutch bags, and hair accessories all in the style of Miss. Daisy Buchanan.
The 1920’s saw a woman who was full of spirit, courageous and independent. We love the Roaring 20’s look. Do you? How are you going to get your flapper fashion fix?
Love TJC xx
