The last week has seen a number of dress debates breakout online. Rather than trying to decide whether 'The Dress' is black and blue or white and gold, we've been trying to decide who wore another dress better.
In a bit of a fashion faux pas, Kim Kardashian West and Rita Ora – Rob Kardashian's ex – turned up at the same party in almost identical outfits. Both British singer and Mrs Kardashian West arrived at the Mert and Marcus House of Love party last Thursday (February 26th) in soft pink latex dresses by designer Atsuko Kudo.
Kim seems to have developed a bit of a love for this style, choosing a similar dress several months ago for a fragrance launch in Australia. While her previous dress had featured a rather risque neckline, this one was all about showing off her ample curves.
With an on-trend high neckline, the simple pastel pink-coloured dress was incredibly fitted, highlighting her tiny waist and stunning figure. With her hair swept back from her face and her makeup reasonably subtle, Kim's look was all about the body.
To create a contrast with the unusual dress material, she teamed it with a blush-coloured faux fur jacket, adding a bit of softness to the edgy style. The whole look was completed with a classic pair of nude strappy shoes, providing the perfect finishing touch.
We're sure Kim's look would have been a winner, but then Rita turned up shortly after, wearing a very similar style.
The Shine Ya Light singer rocked up in a dress from the same designer collection that also happened to be in the same shade of pink. Rather than the full high neckline, Rita's dress featured a straight neckline that would have created a strapless style if it weren't for the straps attaching the dress to an embellished choker collar.
She also styled her hair off her face and opted for subtle eye makeup and a rosy lip, meaning that while the dresses were different the effect was much the same. While she may not have as extreme curves as Kim, Rita's dress still highlighted all her best bits and ensured that her frame was showed off to the max.
The singer also chose to create a texture contrast by teaming the latex gown with a pale blue faux fur jacket, creating even more similarities to Kim's ensemble.
So who wore it best? We think both ladies looked amazing and can't decide on the fashion winner. What do you think?
